JOB OPENING RF Engineering Manager Position Number: JR 19498 Location: Washington, DC MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE PURPOSES CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer Duties: CACI has an immediate need for a RF Systems Engineer who will lead the CACI team in providing engineering and technical support to US Navy customers. This customer is responsible for developing advanced active off-board countermeasure (OCM) equipment and payloads. The work will be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC. The incumbent in this position will develop system/design/build /test level concepts for advanced electronic warfare systems, assist in the preparation of these concepts for presentation to a program sponsor, and prepare plans for implementation of resulting development programs. In addition to engineering duties, the incumbent will organize and control project documentation. Required Qualifications: Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify. Must be eligible to obtain a DoD TOP SECRET Security Clearance.Requires a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of extensive, directly applicable experience. An MSEE degree is highly desirable, especially with concentration in electromagnetic wave theory.Must have experience which includes HF-UHF Antenna design and testing, RF testing experience. The ideal applicant would have a minimum of 10 years technical experience, with a substantial portion of this experience in RF systems engineering and development in the 2-18 GHz bands. Must be familiar with RF tools and have technical software experience using tools such as PSpice, Dx Designer, OrCAD, PADS, AutoCAD, MS Visio, MATLAB, and C Programming. Must be able to develop system level concepts for advanced electronic warfare systems, assist in the preparation of these concepts for presentation to a program sponsor, and prepare plans for implementation of resulting development programs. Must be able to provide leadership and technical direction to a group of engineers and technicians involved in the engineering and fabrication of a developmental system. Applicant must also be willing to travel occasionally (1-2 times monthly) in support of military customer programs, and be able to effectively represent those customers in dealing with other government program organizations and contractors on technical issues. Desired Qualifications: Microwave antenna design/testing experience, design of RF integrated modules, millimeter wave and subsystems design, high pass filter experience, microwave circuits, and RF control systems desired. Prior military experience in the operation and/or maintenance of airborne radar and weapons systems would be a plus. Familiarity with RF CAD Tools (Intermediate to Expert) such as EZNEC software and Eagleware is desirable. Antenna design experience ranging from HF to UHF frequencies is highly desired. Proficiency with administrative tools such as MS Office, MS Project and PowerPoint are also desired.
